This is done, in order to understand your preferred choice of artists and genres. – Next up, the app requires permission to access the photos, media and files on your device. This is required for the app to gather information about the local happening events around you. You could either turn on Location and let it automatically gather the information, or you may manually set the location later. – First off, the app requires you to enable the location settings on your phone. Follow bands on Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat So, if you want to increase your chances of being one of the first people to hear about an upcoming show, sign up for a few of your favorite bands' mailing lists. Sometimes, that's the first place artists will send out this information. Most artists have an email mailing list that includes updates about merch, new albums and tour dates. The app will scan your phone for music so that Songkick can track those artists, too. If you also have a large local library on your phone, download the Songkick app.
Click your profile picture (upper-right corner) and go to settings.Go ahead and log in to those accounts so Songkick can scan them. In the far right are three ways to add artists: Spotify, Facebook and Last.fm.When you're done, you'll be redirected to your Dashboard.
